I think the dem. establishment talked to Braggs and made him understand that he hurts the cause greatly if he indicts - makes Trump look like a victim. I dunno. From the dem's perspective, the way to get the real threat (Desantis) out of the way is to energize Trump's base and make it so he wins the primaries, knocking Desantis out. Then, they (the dems) feel that they can handle Trump again in the General. Maybe they should let Braggs indict. |
